Demi Lovato seems to be doing a lot better following her drug overdose and time in rehab. Now, the singer is starting anew and is very grateful to her fans for the support and undying love they have shown her.
That being said, she took the opportunity that it is Thanksgiving to show her gratitude towards them with a sweet wish on social media.
The star posted a pic of her Turkey Day spread, which seems to include a few traditional dishes such as turkey, stuffing and green beans.
‘Happy Thanksgiving everybody!!!’ Demi wrote alongside the image depicting the delicious food.
As you may know, the songstress hasn’t been very active online ever since she overdosed and was hospitalized back in July.
She did, however, use her voice earlier this month to encourage her followers to go vote in the midterm election.
Furthermore, she also slammed a social media user for defending a fired backup dancer formerly accused of being to blame for Demi’s drug problem.
The fan also called the star’s team ‘rotten’ over it.
In a since-deleted comment, Lovato supposedly wrote: You have no idea what you are talking about. True friends do not do interviews about you when you OD.’
Ever since the scary overdose that was so bad it could have killed her, Demi went to rehab and has been spending her time focusing on her recovery process.
One insider shared with E! News not too long ago that ‘She’s been working out with a trainer several days per week, eating right, and truly has a whole different mindset. She’s been following all of the steps and guidelines put in place by her specialists.’
