Demi Lovato just posted a message on social media targeted at those who criticized her for her choice to not disclose her sexuality. The songstress posted on her Twitter account on September 20 to respond to a fan’s post who slammed her for refusing to talk about her sexuality during an interview with PrideSource.
‘I love Demi Lovato, but her reason for refusing to talk about her sexuality is total bulls**t,’ the fan posted along with an accompanying article filled with explanations.

In response to the tweet, Demi replied, ‘Expectant and rude,’ before telling the fan to watch her documentary ‘and chill out.’
Demi followed up with a second tweet a few minutes later saying, ‘Just because I’m refusing to label myself for the sake of a headline doesn’t mean I’m not going to stand up for what I believe in.’
She also added, ‘If you’re that curious about my sexuality, watch my documentary. But I don’t owe anybody anything.’
Demi Lovato has also recently shared with PrideSource some of her thoughts.
‘I just feel like everyone is always looking for a headline, and they always want their magazine or TV show or whatever to be the one to break what my sexuality is,’ she confessed to the publication. ‘I feel like it’s irrelevant to what my music is all about.’

‘I feel like it’s irrelevant to what my music is all about.’
She continued saying that ‘I stand up for the things that I believe in and the things that I am passionate about, but I like to keep my personal life as private as possible when it comes to dating and sexuality and all that stuff just because it has nothing to do with my music.’ What can we say? She is right.
Demi also said that ‘Unfortunately, we live in a world where everyone is trying to get that soundbite, and I am purposefully not giving the soundbite. Watch my documentary.’ She also confessed that she will only talk about her sexuality in her own terms.
