It sounds like out of all of the famous soccer player’s children, his daughter is the only one who still loves to play even though they all used to. David Beckham stopped by The Graham Norton Show today, and while there, he revealed that his three sons, Cruz, 13, Romeo, 15 and Brooklyn, 19 are no longer sharing his love for the sport, but his daughter Harper still plays!
Apparently, the 6 year old plays soccer every weekend!
‘She loves it. The boys don’t play anymore, which is heartbreaking,’ the father of four shared.
Beckham was quick to mention that he was joking about being heartbroken but it still sounds like he really misses seeing his sons on the field.
‘They have a talent, but obviously none of them plays anymore. So, it’s down to Harper,’ he said.
The former Manchester United star confessed that he gets a bit too ‘enthusiastic’ with his cheering on his young daughter while watching her play from the sidelines.
At the same time, he is also super protective judging by the story he told the host.
He admitted that one time when a little boy ran into his daughter during a game, he did not know how to react.
‘I was looking around at the other parents thinking ‘How do I react?’ Do I be a UNICEF ambassador…or do I be Harper’s daddy and be like ‘Really?’ So, I just let it go.’
We are not surprised Harper is so into soccer as she has been growing with it and playing it from a really young age.
Back in 2015, the proud father posted a pic of Harper, who was only three years old at the time, shooting a goal!
‘Mia Hamm eat your heart out. Harper taking lessons from her brothers (oh and her dad),’ he captioned the photo.
