ET reports that after an incident at the pair’s home this weekend, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Staub was granted a restraining order against husband Marty Caffrey. Here’s what reportedly happened!
The document obtained by the outlet includes the woman’s story that upon returning home last night, she realized ‘her garage door wouldn’t open. The other two bay doors did, and she found her husband standing in the garage. He appeared to be under the influence, agitated and confrontational.’
Staub claims she went straight to sleep in an attempt to ‘avoid any arguments with [Caffrey].
But upon reaching the bedroom, she heard ‘a disturbing noise in another area of the residence [so] she walked downstairs.’
Danielle realized a few family portraits featuring her kids and other framed memories were no longer on the walls.
She suspected her husband was the one to take them down and became upset.
The order states that the patrol officers called at the scene later located the portraits in the man’s car.
Staub also apparently thinks he ‘is attempting to tarnish her reputation and career by making repeated false reports to the media.’
According to a source, the ‘harassment’ has been going on for ‘the last couple of weeks.’
In a statement he gave Us Weekly, Caffrey told his side of the story, declaring: ‘On Sunday, I had to call the police because of her outburst and threats that she made after she returned home from dinner looking disheveled, either drunk or high. She reached for an iron and a stapler as to throw them at me.’
‘It turns out that after I went to sleep in another room, she went to the police department in Englewood, and got a restraining order against me because I removed pictures of her children from a location where all my children’s pictures were removed earlier in the evening.’
