In the developing war of words, Dana has responded to Mayweather laughing off his offer. Last week, we reported that White made an official offer to Mayweather, guaranteeing him $25 million and a share of the PPV buys for the fight against McGregor. Mayweather scoffed at the offer, insinuating that the offer was just a little more than his Hublot timepiece. Well, Dana just shot back.
Dana believes Mayweather needs the $25 million he laughed at. First of all, he addressed Mayweather’s belief that he is so much bigger than Conor. Dana stated that Mayweather is wrong. He gave him props for going undefeated for 20 years, but emphasized that Conor has been in the game for at least 3 or 4 years by now. Dana also stated that there was no way he was going to pay Mayweather way more than Conor, as he isn’t any way bigger than Conor for this fight.
Dana went on to say that we all know that $25 mil isn’t peanuts, and so does “Money” Mayweather. “He’s hanging his watch out the window, his watch is the problem”, stated Dana. Dana joked that if you are wearing a watch that cost $250k, you’re going to need $25 mil real quick. He added that taxes are coming up soon, and that the IRS will be be over him.
Dana, in a more serious tone now, stated that Floyd never made any offer; It was reported that Floyd made Conor an offer for $15 Mil. He said if Floyd is serious, the $25 Mil is a real offer, and asked the question we all have on all our minds, where do we go from here Floyd?
It will be interesting to see how this plays out in the coming days.
