Legendary soccer player, Cristiano Ronaldo, is leaving Meal Madrid for Juventus F.C. According to reports, the 33-year-old athlete just finished signing a contract for his entrance into the Italian football club for approximately $400 million.
Ronaldo, who recently welcomed several new children into his family, will receive around $35 million in salary, as well as $117 million for a “transfer fee.” Throughout his career, Cristiano has broken several different records, including in goal-scoring as well as in financial rewards.
When he became a professional athlete, he was, at the time, the most expensive teenager in the history of sports. He signed with Manchester United when he was just 18-years-old in 2003. After bouncing around in between teams, he eventually made his way to Real Madrid.
Cristiano has been with Real Madrid for nine years, and during that time, he won four Ballon D’Ors and three Golden Boots. Due to his time with the club, the Portuguese native said he only has “feelings of enormous gratitude for this club and this city.”

Currently, he holds the record for most goals scored and is the only player to hit thirty goals in six seasons back-to-back in La Liga.
While his career has been tremendously successful, he hasn’t been without his tragedy. His father, Jose Dinis Aveiro, died due to a liver condition related to alcoholism when he was 52-years-old. Ronaldo’s father died when he was just 20-years-old, the very start of his soccer career.
Due to his father’s death, Cristiano does not drink alcohol, and once sued the Daily Mirror for claiming that he was drinking at a nightclub while he was recovering from an injury in July 2008.
And in June 2010, Ronaldo became a father to his very first son but didn’t reveal who the mother was at the time. In January 2015, Ronaldo told the press that his relationship with Victoria’s Secret model Irina Shayk had ended. And in June 2017, Ronaldo had twins with his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez.
