Another day, another Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth shotgun wedding rumor. Instead of posting any pictures, the couple spent another holiday in hiding and simply shared a Bible verse and a sweet note on their Instagram. Could her disappearing act mean she is farther along in her pregnancy than she claims?
The newlyweds didn’t appear in any of the Duggar family Christmas photos that older sister Jessa Seewald took during the celebration. The pictures did feature Joseph Duggar and his wife, Kendra Caldwell, who just recently announced that they were expecting their first child.
Also appearing in the pics were numerous Duggar siblings and grandchildren, who were opening presents and playing with their new toys.
But, noticeably missing were Joy-Anna and her husband, who have been keeping a low profile since announcing their pregnancy in August, just three months after they tied the knot.
Instead of posting baby bump updates and sonograms, the couple has chosen to share just a few selfies, with some not showing Joy-Anna’s belly at all.
The couple did attend the Duggar family Christmas, but chose to hide from the cameras, just as they did at Thanksgiving. This, of course, is fueling rumors that the Forsyth’s got pregnant before their wedding day.
The family did, however, share a bizarre Christmas photo that had many scratching their heads. The Hollywood Gossip is reporting that the family seems to have posed for their holiday pic back in the warmer months because it doesn’t look recent.
Josh and Anna Duggar’s fifth child (who arrived in September) is nowhere to be seen, and Joy-Anna is standing behind her mother and hiding her baby bump.
Per In Touch Weekly, the couple’s Instagram post of a Bible verse randomly sparked conversation in the comments about when their baby was due.
One fan wrote that based on her photos, she looks like she is due in mid-January, while another said that it had been way too long since anyone has seen a picture of the Forsyth baby.
Unlike her mom, sisters, and sisters-in-law, Joy-Anna has decided not to announce the gender or due date of her child.
The shotgun wedding rumors started when the Forsyth’s moved their wedding day from October to May. Then, just a few weeks later Joy-Anna announced her pregnancy on social media. But, it was the baby bump photo she posted the first week in October that sent speculation into overdrive.
Just 18 weeks after walking down the aisle, Joy-Anna appeared to many (including some doctors) to be at least five months along.
Only time will tell if there is any truth to the Joy-Anna Duggar shotgun wedding rumors.
