When the Duggar kids are young and living in Jim Bob and Michelle’s house, there is a long list of strict rules they must abide by, but fans are noticing more and more each day that once the stars of Counting On leave the nest, they don’t mind breaking the family commandments. Jinger, Jill, and Jessa have all started to wear pants, and some of the kids have admitted that they broke some courting rules. And now, a video has surfaced from 2014 that reveals some of the Duggar daughters have tried alcohol.
In the clip, Jessa Duggar says that she has tried alcohol, but “not on purpose.” Then, Jill tries to clear things up on how they could make such a mistake.
“We’re really heavily involved in politics, and sometimes it’s one of those fancy, ritzy events, and they serve you what you think is punch, and it’s not. You’re like ‘Oops, yeah, that wasn’t punch.’ That was champagne or something,” explains Jill.

Breaking free is becoming more and more common in the Duggar family, and Michelle has even posted a picture of herself wearing pants on the beach, and a video recently surfaced of the 51-year-old wearing leggings at the gym.
As for the boys, Josiah is going to be the next Duggar child to “bust out” according to a former family employee. The source didn’t give any context as to why, but fans think it is because the 21-year-old is not a fan of the courting process. And, considering his parents never courted, it’s easy to understand why.
But, the Duggars aren’t just breaking family rules, they are also getting themselves involved in scandals. And, the latest involves Jessa and her husband, Ben Seewald, because they are selling their land for $200,000 even though they only paid $1 for the property.
According to Radar Online, the money-making scheme came about after Jessa’s grandmother Mary sold the couple the land last summer. The warranty deed from Washington County Circuit Court in Arkansas reveals that the property purchase price for the home was $100,000 with a $330 tax amount, but the Seewalds paid Mary just a dollar for the .46 acres of land.
But now, the Counting On stars are selling the property for $200,376, and a Salmonsen Group realtor says the listing is only for the land and doesn’t include the house.

The anti-Duggar Facebook page Life Is Not All Pickles and Hairspray was the first to report on the financial scandal. And, the Zillow listing claims that the land is perfect for a new business to catch traffic from all directions because it is only a few feet from Interstate 49.
Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald return in new episodes of Counting On later this summer on TLC.
