Counting On star Jinger Duggar is expecting her first child with her husband Jeremy Vuolo, and it’s safe to assume that she is getting a lot of parenting advice right now. The Duggar family’s claim to fame is that they are incredibly fertile humans and love having babies, so their expertise lies in handling pregnancies and raising children. Jinger’s sister Jessa is already the mom of two boys, and she offered up some tips in a recent TLCME video, but she also seemed to reveal that she is expecting baby number three.
In the video, Jessa shared her pregnancy knowledge and opened up about comparing their pregnancies.
“When we talk, it’s so fun to just compare the different things we’re experiencing in pregnancy. See what things are similar. See what things are different,” Jessa shared.
While watching the short video, fans quickly noticed that Jessa used the present tense “we’re experiencing” when talking about pregnancy, leading many to believe she is expecting again but has yet to make the official announcement.
Even though Jessa has some wisdom to share with Jinger about becoming a mom, there is one thing she definitely got wrong, and that was the baby’s gender. Jessa explained that her sister and brother-in-law thought they would have a boy when they found out about the pregnancy, and because the family has been on the “boy train” for so long, she just knew they were going to have a son. So, during the gender reveal, when she saw the sign turn pink, she screamed.
The Vuolo’s revealed their baby’s gender in the form of an obstacle course where they split their family members into two different groups – a pink team and a blue team. Each member of the groups had to finish a container of ice cream before running through the course. Then, the captain of the team who finished first had the honor of making the reveal by turning on a lighted sign that said “baby.” At the end of the race when the sign came on, it lit up pink.
Jinger is the first Duggar sister to have a baby girl. In addition to Jessa’s sons Henry and Spurgeon, her sister Jill has two sons, Israel and Samuel, and Joy-Anna just gave birth to her first child, a boy she named Gideon.
The only female grand-Duggars belong to their oldest brother Josh and his wife Anna, who have daughters Mackynzie and Meredith.
Jinger is patiently awaiting the arrival of her daughter, who is due in July, but she says she is excited her kids and her siblings’ kids will get to grow up together because cousins are fun to play with.
Jinger Duggar and Jessa Duggar return with all-new episodes of Counting On later this summer.
