Counting On star Jeremy Vuolo shared a new picture of himself with his and Jinger Duggar’s new daughter, Felicity, and the trolls came out in full force to call him out for his lack of daddy skills. What did Vuolo do wrong? Apparently, he made a rookie parenting mistake while taking an online computer class.
According to OK! Magazine, Vuolo was holding his newborn daughter while watching a class lecture on his laptop for one of his classes with The Master’s Seminary. But, the problem was that Felicity was also staring at the screen along with him.
But the trolls couldn’t help themselves, and they immediately started commenting about how dangerous it was for baby Felicity to be looking at a screen.
“Oh, I’ve taken online classes, good luck Jeremy!” one fan commented, but then they continued. “Also, I hate to be that person, but it is really not good for an infant to be so close to a screen, it is not good for her eyes.”
Another fan quickly echoed the statement by writing that their brother and sister-in-law didn’t let their son watch screens during the first year of his life because of a doctor recommendation.
Despite the negative comments, there were still fans that stuck up for Vuolo and rolled their eyes at the accusation that Felicity was too close to a screen. One wrote that it was simply a photo op and they doubted she would be spending a lot of time in front of a computer.
And another said that there must be a club that holds meetings about how to troll other people and comment on their parenting skills.
Vuolo and his wife, Jinger, welcomed Felicity on July 19th, and she is definitely a precious little girl. Both parents have been sharing pics of their first baby on Instagram, with Duggar recently sharing one that showed Felicity wearing a pink, blue, and white striped beanie while smiling with her eyes closed.
The pic earned more than 190,000 likes from Counting On fans in just the first day.
Earlier this past week Jinger Duggar shared another photo of Felicity swaddled in a blue and white blanket while she stared into the camera, along with the message, “Welcome Felicity Nicole.”
New episodes of Counting On air Monday nights on TLC.
