Could Tom Hardy Be The Next James Bond?

Hardy, Tom Hardy, could be the next James Bond.
According to media reports Monday, the British born actor would love to be the next 007. In an interview with the Daily Beast Hardy expressed enthusiasm at taking over the iconic role, especially if Christopher Nolan was brought on as director.
“Oh, wow, Chris would be amazing!” said Hardy. “Wow, that would be cool. That would be so cool.”
The 39-year-old actor who is known for his dramatic body transformation admits he is probably getting too old to make drastic changes now. Hardy seriously bulked up for his MMA role in the ‘Warrior’ and when he played Bane in ‘Batman’.
“I don’t know if it’s as drastic as Bane. I’ve probably damaged my body too much,” he recently told the British paper The Mirror.
Hardy will have to wait if he wants to take over the role from Daniel Craig.
Although Craig has been quoted as saying he’d rather “slit his wrists” than play the secret agent again, the movies producers are confident they can convince him to appear in at least one more Bond film.
Other names linked to the part include Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Jamie Bell and Tom Hughes. Would you like to see Christopher Nolan direct a James Bond movie with Tom Hardy?
