Corey Feldman Talks New Movie Project While At Sundance Film Festival

Actor and child sexual abuse advocate Corey Feldman attended the Sundance Film Festival with his wife Courtney and stopped to give the SLC Fanboys an interview. Feldman is in the second phase of his Truth Campaign where he seeks to raise money to turn his book “Coreyography” into a movie.
According to Feldman, he went to Sundance to connect with writers and other industry professionals and to secure additional funding for this project. He’s raised money through his first campaign and recently announced he’d secured backing funds from another source, moving him closer to his goal.
One question posed to Feldman had little to do with the Truth Campaign, his recent Lifetime movie A Tale of Two Coreys, or his views on Hollywood sex scandals and pedophilia in the industry. Instead, SLC Fanboys asked Feldman what his favorite movie was that he had worked on. The answer was surprising to many as it was the 2005 Spanish film The Birthday.
Written and directed by Eugenio Mira (Grand Piano, Red Lights) The Birthday was nominated for the Fantasporto International Fantasy Film Award for best film and won the Catalonian International Film Festival award for best art direction.
Feldman plays Norman Forrester, a man who attends a birthday party for his girlfriend’s father, only things aren’t what they appear, and the night takes a frightening, bizarre turn of events.
You can see the trailer for The Birthday below.
Corey Feldman spoke about his purpose at Sundance and stated that he had originally planned to host a panel for “A Tale of Two Coreys” but due to timing conflicts, it didn’t take place. He did discuss his plans for Coreyography the Movie and explained what the movie will focus on.
