Corey Feldman will not donate a portion of funds raised through his Truth Campaign to the Rape Foundation as previously reported.
Instead, he has partnered with the advocacy organization Child USA, as announced in a press release on December 12, 2017. The new direction follows a contentious letter that spread across the Internet questioning the truthfulness of Feldman’s advocacy for the Truth Campaign, the plight of child sexual abuse victims and his intentions of donating to the Rape Foundation.
Child USA and Corey Feldman released joint statements about the partnership. Feldman has already made his first contribution from the Truth Campaign to Child USA.
Corey Feldman made the first public announcement that he had decided not to donate to the Rape Foundation in a tweet.
An announcement was made on Twitter accusing Corey Feldman of operating a scam and quoted a reply by the Rape Foundation in their letter. It is still unclear whether the response was legitimately from the Foundation. The suggestion was made online by critics that Corey Feldman needed to contact the organization to plan a donation.
Unfortunately for the Rape Foundation, Corey Feldman chose to align the campaign with a different charity.
FURTHERMORE I HAV ALSO CHOSEN THE NEW CHARITY THAT WE WILL B ALIGNING OURSELVES WITH & MAKING CHARITABLE DONATIONS 2 IN PLACE OF THE RAPE FOUNDATION WHICH WAS NOT GRATEFUL 4 R SUPPORT! THAT INFORMATION WILL ALSO B INCLUDED IN TOMORROWS ANNOUNCEMENT! #PRESERVEINNOCENCE

Child USA was more than happy to partner with Corey Feldman and receive the contribution. In addition to the partnership, Child USA has named Corey Feldman National Ambassador for Justice for Child Abuse Victims.
Not only will he contribute on a monetary level, but he will also assist in working towards repealing the statute of limitation laws regarding child sexual abuse cases on a state-by-state basis.

Child USA CEO Marci Hamilton appeared on the Dr. Oz show with Feldman where they discussed child sexual abuse and the need for better laws. Hamilton stated that there is an inherent problem with the statute of limitation laws as the average age for reporting child sexual abuse if often years and sometimes decades beyond when the limitation laws expire.
What do you think about the accusations that Corey Feldman never planned to donate a portion of the Truth Campaign funds and that he did contribute to another charity?
How do you feel about Corey Feldman being named the Ambassador for Justice for Child Abuse Victims?
