All the Democrats who were eager to have Dr. Christine Blasey Ford’s support as they continue to go up against new Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh have just received a cold awakening.
Ford has just dropped a bombshell that will make President Donald Trump and the other Republicans in Washington very happy.
The professor bravely testified in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee where she spoke about being sexually assaulted by Kavanaugh when she was a teenager.
If the Democrats get their people out and win big in the 2018 midterm elections and regain control of Congress, they are hoping to impeach Kavanaugh.
It will be without Ford’s help and blessing because she has turned that chapter of her life and has no interest in seeing the process drag on and will not pursue her sexual misconduct allegations against Kavanaugh.
Her lawyer, Debra Katz, said: “Professor Ford has not asked for anything of the sort. What she did was to come forward and testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee and agree to cooperate with any investigation by the FBI, and that’s what she sought to do here.”
She went on to reveal: “I don’t think she has any regrets. I think she feels like she did the right thing. And this was what she wanted to do, which was provide this information to the committee so they could make the best decision possible. And I think she still feels that was the right thing to do, so I don’t think she has any regrets.”
At a rally in Mississippi, Trump mocked Ford by saying: ‘”I had one beer.’ Well, do you think it was …Nope. It was one beer.’ Oh good. How did you get home? ‘I don’t remember.’ How did you get there? ‘I don’t remember.’ Where is the place? ‘I don’t remember.’ How many years ago was it? ‘I don’t know. I don’t know. I don’t know.'”
The former reality TV star added: “What neighborhood was it in? I don’t know.’ Where’s the house? ‘I don’t know. Upstairs. Downstairs. I don’t know. But I had one beer, that’s the only thing I remember.’”
Ford’s testimony helped many women share their painful stories.
