Christina El Moussa, formerly of Flip or Flop, is ready to embark on her own path. The reality star recently got her own show on HGTV called, Christina On The Coast. The network unveiled their new series on the 27th of June, Wednesday.
The president of the HGTV and Food Network, Allison Page, explained in a statement that Christina’s popularity is profound, and her style design is successful, so it only made sense to increase her visibility with yet another series.
Moreover, the president of the network explained that Christina’s fans are very involved in her personal life, and love seeing what she’s up to.
According to reports, the 34-year-old ex-wife of Tarek El Moussa will transform old homes into high-end properties, similar to the premise of Flip Or Flop. In addition to building houses and working on projects, the show will delve into the reality star’s personal life.
As it was previously reported, Christina and Tarek El Moussa got divorced back in 2016 but continued working on Flip or Flop, until they had to end it altogether.
During her appearence on Good Morning America on Wednesday, Christina said – at the time – it was important for her and Tarek to show small pieces of their lives in the series because there were so many rumors and gossip about them. It was a way of showing what was really going on in their lives.
Fans of Christina and Tarek will remember when just after they broke up, Christina called the police on Tarek because she feared he was going to hurt someone or himself.
However, at a later date, Tarek explained that he just went out into the woods with a gun to protect himself against all kinds of dangerous wildlife near his property. Nevertheless, they’ve since moved on from each other, with Christina beginning a relationship with Ant Anstead.
As for her new show, when speaking with the host of GMA, Christina said she’s helping eight homeowners fix their homes, and is trying to get the houses to be more popular and have a better ability to “appeal to the masses.”
