The songstress hasn’t been short of proud of her work while promoting her new LP.
During an interview with Zane Lowe for Beats 1, she stressed that ‘These songs so make sense and are so relevant now. I was doing it then, and I am glad I stuck to my guns. I truly just came out with things I believed in, even if it was against the grain, even if people were like, ‘Really, you shouldn’t be saying that. It’s going to start up too much controversy.”
