Chrissy Teigen was both shocked and infuriated by social media users who accused her of involving her young child in the already debunked ‘Pizzagate’ pedophile hoax. The model took to social media to slam all of those haters.
‘Alright. I debated saying something about it, but I am pretty disturbed over here,’ she tweeted, sharing print screens of Liz Crokin reposting pics of her daughter Luna, 1, wearing some cute Halloween costumes.
‘Chrissy Teigen’s daughter dressed as a hot dog, Alice in Wonderland and a pineapple but note [the pizza] emoji! #followthewhiterabbit,’ Liz wrote.
What she meant was that Chrissy placed her own daughter in the ‘Pizzagate’ world, a conspiracy theory already debunked by Snopes, that claims a Hillary Clinton-linked pizza place known as Comet Ping Pong is actually just a front for a huge pedophilia rink.
Alright. I debated saying something about this but I’m pretty disturbed over here. The fact that there are people with these…thoughts…is really scary. pic.twitter.com/9OtWKHxUgR

‘The facts that there’s people with these…thoughts…it is really scary. Apparently dressing my daughter as Alice In Wonderland and a hot dog and having a pizza emoji has to do with pizzagate and being uhh darksided. That thread is wild. Enjoy,’ Chrissy added.
The woman also pointed out how wrong it is that these social media platforms allow such unhinged theories to go around.
‘Yeah it is ‘just Twitter,’ but I am pretty sure this ‘sick’ person’s saying we’re darksided pizzagate pedophiles who traffic our own daughter. Ummm this is really scary shit. Thank you, Twitter, for verifying someone who’s essentially accusing me of child abuse and pedophilia to their 50,000 followers.’
Later on when Liz answered that she uses her platform to ‘educate people,’ Chrissy requested her to apologize for the ridiculous claims.
‘You need to take my family’s name out of your mouth before you get sued.’
