In the last year, Chris Soules has had a tough time following the car crash which led to the death of one man. On the 10th of March, for the first time since the fatal accident, Chris re-opened his Instagram account.
The 36-year-old shared a story on Instagram of a dog and a cat walking together, and he captioned it with the word, “Buddies.” Selena Gomez’s most recent song, Wolves, is playing as background music.
As all know by now, the Dancing With The Stars alum found himself in trouble with the law following an accident where the reality star allegedly drove his truck into the back-end of a tractor driven by the 66-year-old, Kenny Mosher.
Unfortunately, when emergency first responders arrived at the scene, they were able to cart Kenny to the hospital, but it was there where he passed away succumbing to his injuries.
Following his death, police went to the home of Soules and had him arrested on one count of leaving the scene of a car accident which left one person dead.
Reportedly, Soules’ attorney-at-law has claimed in court that he did not have to stay at the scene because Chris did call the police and also tried to help the man in his final moments.
In an audio clip obtained by Us Weekly, Chris can be heard calling 9-1-1. Furthermore, according to his attorney, Chris administered chest compressions and CPR in an attempt to have him survive long enough for the arrival of the ambulance.
The reality star and his legal representative also claimed that he did all that he could, and it was the ambulance team who told him he could leave because the situation was “under control.”
Soules intended to have the case thrown out of court, a motion which the court denied. If the farmer is indicted for his crimes, he faces a maximum of up to five years in prison.
