Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger have gone public with their relationship, and lately, they have been attached at the hip. But, that doesn’t mean the two are getting physical.
After splitting from his ex-wife, Anna Faris, last year, Pratt’s relationship with Schwarzenegger is heating up. But he is “sticking to his rulebook,” and practicing abstinence.
“They’re both deeply religious and believe sex should be saved for marriage,” says an insider told Radar Online. “But, they have nothing against showing affection.”
The source also says that Pratt cares a lot for Schwarzenegger, and he doesn’t want to mess things up.

The couple attended church together late last month, and then cameras spotted them having ice cream along with his six-year-old son, Jack. The next week, the Jurassic World star joined Schwarzenegger and her siblings for Sunday dinner after church.
An insider says that Schwarzenegger is looking for a sincere relationship with a man who wants something long-term, and Pratt “checks all of her boxes.” And, if things do end up working out between them, they both believe that the sex will end up being even more special and worth waiting for.
However, even though things are going well for Pratt in his private life, he recently admitted that it is “not an easy time” for him professionally. Pratt and the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy cast are trying to figure out how to get past Disney’s firing of writer-director James Gunn.
Earlier this week, Pratt said that he continues to stand behind his social media posts where he wrote that he hoped Disney would reinstate Gunn for the third film in the superhero franchise. He said that everyone loves Gunn and he is a good friend, but they also love playing their characters in Guardians of the Galaxy.
He explained that it is a complicated situation, and they just want to move forward and do what is right, while being the best people they can be.
Disney fired Gunn last month as director of Volume 3 because of old tweets that emerged where he joked about rape and pedophilia. He has since apologized for the tweets — which he posted between 2008 and 2011 — but Disney still decided to part ways with the director.
Pratt says he found out about Gunn’s firing while he was at Comic-Con in San Diego, and the news shocked him. The 39-year-old says that he loves going to the annual event, but he ended up not doing a lot of interviews because of his shock about the situation.

He added that everyone put a lot of time, effort, and thought into their official statement that they released, and they want that to be basically all they have to say about it because it was a clear and honest expression about how they feel.
Pratt, along with Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel, signed an open letter released ten days after Disney fired Gunn that showed their support for the director. Gunn had been the writer and director of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise from the beginning, and he took an obscure Marvel title and turned it into a hit that made Pratt a major movie star.
Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger have not commented on the burgeoning romance.
