Chris Brown does not appear to be too happy with his album’s sales. His latest album is called Heartbreak on a Full Moon.
?So I’m hearing that I will only be credited for 3 days of sales for my first week. DONT UNDERSTAND how that is…?. Just like the 9 platinum plaques RIAA Just dropped out of the sky this year(not including the 3 that I just received for HOAFM singles). (10 platinums =?) …. FUCK IT, either way I’m thankful for the support. ❤️
On November 2, Chris took to his Instagram account to share some disappointing news with his fans.
According to him, he will only be credited for three days of sales for the first week of his album’s release.
Heartbreak on a Full Moon was released on Halloween, and this is by far Chris’ most ambitious album with its nearly three-hour listening time.
Over the past month, Chris teased his eighth studio project which was jam-packed with a Rolodex of star-studded collabs, including the likes of A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Jhene Aiko, Yo Gotti, Gucci Mane, Usher and more.
Despite the lengthy track list, however, it looks like some #TeamBreezy fans are eager to listen and dissect Chris’ latest offering.
Unsurprisingly, the reviews seem to be a mixture of both negative and positive critiques.
Some of his fans are complaining about the album’s length, and others have been sending their praises to Chris for delivering such a diverse album of ballads and party anthems as well. The album is currently available for streaming, and the double CD edition will be in stores for purchase on November 3.
