Kandi Burruss just had her first night on stage with the Chicago musical, and she posted a few pics after the show. She was delighted that her better half, Todd Tucker was there as well.
‘This was an amazing night & I’m so glad that my better half was with me for this moment! @todd167 has been helping me go over my lines every night for the past week to prepare for this night. I love you bae! Come catch me in @chicagomusical from now until March 11th!’ Kandi captioned her picture featuring herself and her beau, and her fans loved it.
Her friends were at the show as well, Mona Scott-Young and Yandy Smith-Harris and Kandi made sure to post a pic of them as well showing her gratitude for their support.
Surprisingly Sheree Whitfield was at the show as well and Kandi was extremely happy to see that she came as well.
It’s always great to have support on your first night on stage. @monascottyoung we’ve been rolling for the last couple of months on tour & im so happy that you made time to be here for my opening night! @yandysmith thanks sis for being here. For the next 2 months I’m in your city so I’ll be knocking on your door to brainstorm on some new money moves & play dates for the kids! Ace gets here Friday! @shereewhitfield I was mad at you after Sunday’s episode but when you surprised me at my show I didn’t even care anymore about the drama because I was just happy to see you were there for me on my first night! I appreciate y’all! #MamaMorton #ChicagoTheMusical
‘@shereewhitfield I was mad at you after Sunday’s episode, but when you surprised me at my show I didn’t even care anymore about the drama because I was just happy to see you were there for me on my first night! I appreciate all of you!’ Kandi posted happily.
Kandi also praised a stranger, a woman who was present at Wendy Williams show and had her back. She posted on her Instagram account a video showing that woman from the public talking to Wendy and supporting Kandi.
I don’t know this woman, but I love the way she had my back on @wendyshow yesterday. And I’m not posting this to shade anyone but she hit em with the Kandi Koated Nights in the end, so I had to show her some love!’ she posted next to the video.
Kandi seems to be doing really great these days, and we wish her all the best from now on as well. Congrats, for your big night with Chicago musical, Kandi and keep up the good work!
