Charlie Sheen has denied that he considered taking his life after finding out he was HIV positive. This is just another lie of his, because he now came out on camera saying that he wanted to “eat a bullet.”
In an interview for Good Morning America, Sheen told Michael Strahan that he felt like committing suicide when he was informed about his disease.
“The day I was diagnosed, I immediately wanted to eat a bullet, but my mom was there and I wouldn’t do that in front of her or have her clean up that mess. But something came over me and they gave me a handful of pills and said, ‘You can go home and you’re going to live.’”
“If I had brain cancer or stomach thing or meningitis we might not be sitting here right now, so I’m so grateful for what was available when it happened and even more grateful for what’s available right now and I’m in the middle of it,” Sheen added.
Last year however, the troubled actor said in an interview with Radar‘s Dylan Howard, something completely different from now.
“You mentioned your anger [over the diagnosis]. Did you ever consider suicide?” Howard asked.
“I didn’t, no, and I never considered it before the diagnosis. I’ve never been that guy. I’ve always said if somebody’s gonna kill themselves, they should jump off a building. It’s pretty sure-fire! Slashed wrists are usually just a cry for help,” said Sheen at the time.
Sheen has also been in such dire financial crisis following the expenses of his treatments that his former wives have agreed to cut the child support payments in half.
Both Brooke Mueller and Denise Richards, each of them having two kids with Sheen, used to receive about $55,000 a month. Now however, they have agreed with him paying only around $25,000.
As if his issues were not enough, now the actor also faces legal claims that he has not informed former partners about carrying the virus.
Do you believe Charlie is lying about wanting to commit suicide now, or did he lie last year?
