Time Magazine and several different Hollywood stars responded to Trump’s claim that he “passed” on Time’s “Person Of The Year” award. The 71-year-old tweeted yesterday, November 24th, “I was probably going to be named Man of the Year, but I would have to agree to an interview and a major photo shoot.”
The president said he had to “pass,” but thanked the enterprise for their offer anyway. Celebrity Insider reported earlier that Time denied Donald’s claim by stating he was “incorrect.”
Time Magazine called to say that I was PROBABLY going to be named “Man (Person) of the Year,” like last year, but I would have to agree to an interview and a major photo shoot. I said probably is no good and took a pass. Thanks anyway!

The news organization revealed they do not discuss who will take the cover of the magazine until the date of its publication. In response, celebrities such as Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Sarah Silverman took to Twitter to condemn the politician.
Dreyfus – while derisively referencing Trump – wrote, “NYTimes just called to say I was probably going to be named comedienne of the year,” but she had to pass.

Andy Murray also took to Twitter to mock Trump by claiming the BBC asked him to be the athlete of the year but he had to say no because of a “major photo shoot.”
After Trump’s brutal attack on Rosie O’Donnell, many in the public sphere alleged the POTUS must hate women, considering he uses terms like “pig” to describe them.
Sarah Silverman – while alluding to his reputation as an alleged sexist – said that the President hates the idea of it being “Person Of The Year,” rather than “Man.”
Additionally, Billy Eichner wrote a long diatribe by creating a mock-scenario where Time Magazine and Billy go on a date. He wrote, “It’s too bad though because Time Magazine is really hot!” The POTUS is undoubtedly unpopular among Hollywood celebrities and athletes with many of them regularly bashing the President and anything he has to say.
