According to reports, Catt Sadler from E! News left the organization on the 19th of December, Tuesday, because of a pay dispute. Sadler allegedly found out she was paid less than her co-host, Jason Kennedy, and tried to negotiate a higher pay grade but was refused.
Sadler – who has been with the organization for more than ten years – confirmed the sad news in a tweet where she wrote that it was “true,” and today would be her last day.
Catt said she hopes her fans will tune in to see her final goodbye. In another tweet, the former host wrote that her “gratitude runs so deep.”

A source speaking to Us Weekly said Catt left because the executives wouldn’t pay her as much as Jason Kennedy. Her contract with the network was expiring, and Sadler found out she didn’t make nearly as much money as Jason; she wasn’t pleased.
The insider said, “Catt found out that she didn’t get paid nearly as much as Jason and she was livid. With the talk of ‘equal-pay’ all over the news lately, there was no way Catt would put up with that.”
Reportedly, the network didn’t want to pay her more money either. The source claimed she’s “moving forward” with her life and is excited about the next stage.
However, while some might think that Catt blames Jason, she doesn’t. Catt understands that he didn’t even know and probably never gave it much thought.
After everyone found out, Jason was “horrified” by the news and feels terrible about the discrepancy. As for the corporation’s response, E! News said they pay people for their roles regardless of gender. Additionally, in their statement, they said they wish her the best in the next stage of her career.
