Adrienne Gang has shared the first picture of Carrie Underwood who recently had surgery on her face.
The Below Deck actress had a random encounter with Underwood at the gym, and the pair took a cute picture together.
The country diva announced in late 2017 that she took a nasty fall on the steps outside her Nashville mansion.
Underwood was rushed to a nearby hospital where she learned that her wrist was broken and she needed close to 50 stitches on her face due to cuts and bruises. In a post to her fans, she explained her ordeal.
Underwood said: “There is also another part of my story that I have not been ready to talk about since I have still been living it and there has been much uncertainty as to how things will end up. It’s crazy how a random freak accident can change your life.”
She continued: “In addition to breaking my right wrist, I somehow managed to injure my face as well. I will spare you all the gruesome details, but when I came out of surgery the night of my fall, the doctor told Mike that he had put between 40 and 50 stitches in.”
The country music star added: “I honestly do not know how things are going to end up, but I do know this: I am grateful. I am grateful that it wasn’t much, much worse.”

Fans and foes are debating the photo because Underwood’s old face and new one look the same. Some point to Kylie Jenner who spoke about being injured before a nose job.
One person said: “Just heard about your injury on ABC Chicago news. Positive thoughts and energy for a speedy recovery for you. You’re beautiful inside and out,& you are still MY AMERICAN IDOL.But how’d she have 40-50 stitches on her face like three weeks before this?? Plastic surgery.? u look the same.”
Another commenter stated: “Leave her alone. Hey, I can’t imagine what its like to go through what you have, or how nerve-wracking it must be wondering if people will accept your, “new look”… don’t worry about it, you are terrific, and your fans are too… we will allow you and love you the way you are… hugs, take care!”
“Your real fans will love you no matter how you look. The lasting effects of your injury must be devastating. It is a shame that our society is so judgemental of appearances, but the ones who matter will always see you as the beautiful person you are. Take the time you need to heal inside and out. Sending positive energy your way,” said a third commenter.
It is unlikely that we will ever have a definite answer.
