Carrie Underwood Shares First Full-Face Photo Since Epic November Fall With Visible Scar

Country diva Carrie Underwood took to Instagram where she showed her full face and the scar left behind after a nasty fall that took place in 2017.
The American Idol winner took the selfie while rehearsing for her much-talked-about performance at the 2018 Academy of Country Music Awards tonight.
The mother of one is gazing at the camera, with perfect makeup and her long blonde hair cascading on her shoulders.
Underwood looks confident and fierce in the photo which she captioned: “Had a great rehearsal for the @acmawards! Can’t wait until tomorrow night! #CryPretty #ACMAwards.”
The singer and songwriter is set to hit the stage for the first time since announcing to the world back in November she fell at her Nashville home where she injured her face and wrist and needed over 50 stitches.
This is the first time since the incident she is giving a close-up look at her face, and many fans claim they can see a scar near her nose.
A few naysayers state that Underwood is lying about the fall to get media attention.
One supporter said: “I see a scar on the right side of her face, close to her nose. You look amazing, I know how it feels to fall and injure your mouth/nose area, it’s a personal struggle, you look amazing and time heals all. So sad people are commenting negatively about her accident.”
Another commenter had this to add: “It was a publicity stunt… which she didn’t need… then where did the metal in her wrist come from? Freaking idiots. Get a life! Jealously is disgusting! Like any of you commenting are more flawless and kind-hearted then she is. Stop caring so much about her personal life! Can’t wait for tomorrow! Also just wanted to say that I’m very sorry to hear that your son had something like that happen to him. I hope everything else is good with her health and all. Looking beautiful as always Carrie!”
A third supporter wrote: “You look great! That’s one thing I hate about social media! People are so rude to everyone! They say things they wouldn’t think of saying to their face! It’s wrong! Yep, because Carrie would lie…. you do realize she could kill her career if it were all a hoax? There is also special makeup that works to fill in unevenness from scarring. Who knows whether she might be wearing something like that. No need to jump to conclusions. This is not an HD photograph, and there’s no way to know for sure whether it’s been retouched, either. All she said was “my face might look a little different.” I don’t know if I’d call that a publicity stunt.”
Underwood will sing her new track “Cry Pretty” at the ACM Awards which will air on CBS Sunday night.
