Carrie Underwood took to social media to show her hubby some love but also show her face to her fans after hiding it for so long following her accident. Although this is not the first picture she has posted since then, in the close-up, it seems like we can see the fading scar on her lip more.
As fans already know, the actress and country singer has been away from her public life for months after falling on her property and injuring her face so badly that she needed 40 to 50 stitches.
But it looks like her time in hiding is finally over as the star has been sharing a lot more pics that show her face entirely lately.
And it seems like each one she posts is clearer than the last.
In this selfie, Carrie can be seen rocking a Nashville Predators hat as she was showing support to her hockey player husband Mike Fisher during his game yesterday.
‘Ready to cheer on the boys tonight! Especially that #12! I hear he is alright! @mfisher1212 @predsnhl #LetsGoPreds,’ she wrote in the caption.
Underwood also explained for the very first time what exactly happened when she fell while on iHeartRadio’s The Bobby Bones podcast a couple of days ago.
‘I fell down… I was taking the dogs out and just tripped,’ Carrie simply stated before she went on to detail the nightmare: ‘There was one step, and I did not let go of the leashes. Priorities! — So, that is why my left hand’s fine. But, I went to catch myself, and I just missed a step. If I had fallen anywhere else, I would have been perfectly fine. But, there was one step that messed everything up.’
Carrie then added that during the accident, she hurt herself ‘around [the] mouth,’ which we can clearly see in the new pic. Regardless, the singer is as stunning as ever!
