Carrie Underwood gifted the impressive amount of $10,000 to a childhood friend and police officer from her hometown, Checotah, Oklahoma after the man broke his neck in a car crash. He was on his way to work at the local police dept. and he had the horrible accident.
Tulsa’s ABC 8 News, Carrie heard about what happened, and she gifted the money to Assistant Police Chief Justin Durrett after he suffered some massive injuries according to the outlet.
The magazine said that he has a bruised spine, and lots of injuries on his head and from the chest down.
It seems that the two of them were childhood friends and they grew up in the same town, attending the same church. It’s a grand gesture on her part, we must admit this.
Besides being kind and generous with others, she also made sure to defend what’s hers, and we are referring to her marriage.
All kinds of divorce rumors have been floating around, and Carrie made it very clear on her Instagram account that she and her husband Mike Fisher are still going strong.
Carrie proved that she fully supports her hubby by posting pics of new T-Shirts celebrating the end of his retirement from the NHL and his return to the ice.
She posted photos of two of her husband’s new merchandise T-Shirts, and one read ‘The Fish is back! Mike Fisher,’ while the other one came with the slogan, ‘Straight outta retirement.’
