Carrie Fisher didn’t just fight villains in space! In fact, in a new interview with the radio station, MixFM, Heather Ross revealed that when a producer harassed her in Hollywood, Carrie stood up for her in the best way possible.
Ross claimed that an anonymous producer invited her for “dinner” and he attempted to have intercourse with her in the car.
Heather stated that there was no warning, dinner, or flirting. The producer merely pulled over and proceeded to jump on her in the passenger’s seat.
According to Heather, after she rejected his advances, he said, “You’ll never make a movie in my town and get the f**k out of my car.”
She claimed, “about two weeks later, she sent me a message online, and she said, ‘I just saw (blank) at Sony Studios.” Heather said Carrie told her she went into his office and placed a box wrapped in wrapping paper and a white bow on his desk.
When Ross asked Carrie what was inside, The Star Wars alumni stated that inside the box was a cow tongue she obtained from a nearby deli along with a note threatening him.
Heather’s story about Carrie comes after sexual assault is once again the trending topic in the mainstream media.
As you may already know by now, issues of sexual assault, harassment, and intimidation have become hot-button problems after allegations came to the surface against Harvey Weinstein.
The New York Times and The New Yorker broke open the case with accusations that Harvey harassed, raped, assaulted, and coerced women for the last thirty years – almost the entirety of his career.
After the news hit the mainstream, executives at the Weinstein Company fired him, and he lost his wife, Georgina Chapman, as well. Since then, women like Rose McGowan, Angelina Jolie, Asia Argento, and others have vehemently spoken out against him.
