Carlos Lopez Junior, one of the top dogs in the reality TV series, Operation Repo, died earlier from an apparent suicide. According to sources from TMZ who spoke with the police department in LA, Carlos’ roommate found him dead around 8 pm on Sunday in their downtown LA apartment.
The roommate called the police and the paramedics came immediately, but when they arrived, they pronounced him dead on the scene.
Insiders say that he died from a gunshot wound to the head, and also left a suicide note, but what the note said precisely hasn’t been leaked to the public.
As you may know, Carlos was an actor on Operation Repo from 2012 until 2014. He had a few small roles including in iCarly, CSI: Cyber, and also a CIA chief in American Made starring Tom Cruise.
Reportedly, Carlos was an experienced combatant in the US military, as he was in the 82nd Airborne division of the US army. He was thirty-five-years-old at the time of his passing.
One source who sat down with us explained, “no one really knows why he did it. It always seemed like he was such a grounded and fortified person, but I guess not. You never really know what someone is going through behind the scenes.”
Carlos will likely be remembered from his role on Operation Repo, a series based on actual stories of repossession by government agencies and police. Each scene and incident based on real-life stories are replayed by actors.
It is scripted, dramatized, and re-enacted by performers, like the vast majority of other TV series.
They also stage the action footage to make it look as real as possible. When it first began, Operation Repo was only in Spanish and began back in October of 2006. Due to its success and popularity, it crossed over into the English language on March 31st, 2008.
