She has always said that her son was her priority, now Melania Trump seems to be cooking up a plan to return to a quiet and peaceful life, and she has her fingers crossed that it will take place in 2020.
The wife of President Donald Trump is said to be searching for a safe place to live when she and her son, Barron, leave the White House.
A source close to the mother of one and former model said she is hoping that Trump will not win reelection and she will be able to move on with her life.
A source told Hollywood Life: “Melania is quietly preparing for her life outside of the White House and possibly without Donald. She is weighing all her options for a life out of the public eye and away from politics.”
The source went on to reveal: “Melania is thinking about where would be the safest place to live for her and Barron and how she will enjoy a more quiet life. A divorce is very much a real option, and Melania is holding her breath until his term is over so she can make all the best decisions about her and Barron’s future. If Donald gets re-elected, she will be devastated. Melania stands another four years under this pressure and scrutiny.”
The first lady recently made headlines by saying she was not the one behind the New York Times op-ed blasting The Donald.
She explained: “Freedom of speech is an essential pillar of our nation’s founding principles, and a free press is essential to our democracy. The press should be fair, unbiased and responsible. Unidentified sources have become the majority of the voices people hear about in today’s news. People with no names are writing our nation’s history. Words are important, and accusations can lead to severe consequences. If a person is bold enough to accuse people of negative actions, they have a responsibility to publicly stand by their words and people have the right to be able to defend themselves. To the writer of the oped — you are not protecting this country; you are sabotaging it with your cowardly actions.”
Some say that all of this is just theater and believe that Melania will never divorce the former reality TV star.
