While Cardi B was preparing for her final performance before the birth of her first child with Offset she made some time to share on Instagram with her fans her personal perspective on the social media trend.
‘Social Media is the most disgusting place. It makes me question humanity and not only on celebs, on other people and situations. I see people on here laughing and getting joy of other people misery,’ Cardi B explained in a post that has since been deleted.
‘People be wishing for other peoples kids to be taking away from them. Be wishing that people career fail and fall not knowing how they going to provide for their family next. Wishing heartaches and break up on people’s relationships, marriage, and homes. Lowering people self-esteem and what ya do it for?’ the rapper continued.
Cardi didn’t stop there and said that ‘Likes, retweets and a couple of followers or a comment back? Ya forget the evil s–t and mind ya have is the reason why God has you held back in life .I’m not talking about my self. I just see a lot of f–ked up s–t and it just disgusts me.’
Cardi was recently praised on that social media that she hates so much for her performance and look at the Billboard Latin Music Awards.
Her since-deleted post is still circulating online and making all sorts of waves. It’s true that social media can hurt someone but for the celebrities, it’s definitely a great opportunity for them to promote their work. And when one creates a social media account, we believe that they know or, at least, should know by know what they’re getting themselves into.
