Cardi B is now a mother, and it appears that, like many other women out there, she is also dealing with some ‘annoying’ postpartum emotions. The 25-year-old rapper opened up about it on social media today, venting to her followers.
‘This postpartum s**t is annoying. Like I have been emotional all f**king day for no reason,’ she wrote on Instagram Stories.
But that was not all! She also shared a vid of a man venting, captioning it: ‘This is how postpartum got me ??The emotional struggle. BARDI vs B.ELCALIS.’
The Bodak Yellow star has been pretty open about her new experience as a mother ever since baby Kulture was born.
That being said, a few days prior, she also confessed she had underestimated parenthood.
‘I underestimated this whole mommy thing. I hope you guys understand. This have been such a hard decision. I want to thank @brunomars for understanding,’ she wrote referring to the fact that she decided to pull out of her joint tour with Bruno Mars.
It looks like five weeks was just not enough for her to recover after giving birth.
Besides, Cardi just cannot bring herself to leave her baby girl behind.
A lot more stars have been getting candid about their postpartum emotions in hopes of bringing awareness to the struggles, so many mothers have to go through.
That being said, hours before Cardi opened up about her own experience, Serena William did the same.
‘Last week was not easy for me. Not only was I accepting tough personal stuff, but I just was in a funk. Mostly, I felt like I wasn’t a good mom. I read articles that said postpartum emotions could last up to three years if not dealt with. I like communication the best. Talking about things with my mom, my sisters, my friends, they let me know my feelings are normal. It is totally normal to feel like I’m not doing enough for my baby,’ the tennis champion posted on her Instagram account.
