Cardi B and her husband Offset are not planning on introducing their baby girl Kulture to the public at the moment, and no amount of money can make them change their minds! The female rapper revealed that after many threats she received on social media, she decided to keep her firstborn away from the public eye.
While on Ebro Darden’s Apple Music show Beats 1, Cardi revealed that ‘I could show you screenshots of multiple comments, and my phone number even got leaked. I got so many disgusting texts that I literally had to hire a private investigator to find out who the f**k is these people threatening my child. It’s just very disgusting, disturbing things…we just do not want to show our baby right now.’
She went on to reveal that ‘I got offered seven figures [to show Kulture], I’m just not ready yet. I am not even ready to have a damn babysitter yet.’
It sounds like Cardi is a very good, protective mom!
Speaking of, during an interview for W magazine’s Art Issue earlier this month, she got candid about motherhood.
‘My baby. That’s all I give a f**k about right now. I am thinking about how my money is going to last so this girl is 21 and in college. I am thinking about investments. I am thinking about five years from now and about the craziest s**t like, How am I going to discipline this girl?’
The Bodak Yellow star also told the outlet that when she first learned about being pregnant, she started ‘freaking out.’
‘When I got pregnant, I was f**king freaking out. Everyone around me was like, ‘No, this never happened before. Every artist who had a baby, they’d already put in years in the game. This is your first year. You are going to mess it up. How are you going to make it?’ While I was pregnant, I kept telling myself, I cannot wait until I am back out there. I am going to look hot, and I am going to be that b**ch.’
