Cardi B and her nemesis Nicki Minaj have been feuding for a while now, and they haven’t been shy when shading one another. That being said, while some people may think it’s embarrassing to have such a public beef with a fellow female emcee, especially since Cardi went as far as to throw her heels at Nicki at NYFW, Cardi is not embarrassed at all!
During an interview with CBS News, the Bodak Yellow rapper said their feud might indeed be ‘unnecessary.’
However ‘am ever embarrassed about anything I ever do? No.’
But that does not mean she believes any publicity is good publicity since she went on to explain that the drama with Minaj only pulls the attention from what’s really important – her art.
‘It makes people not even care about your craft, they just wanna see drama.’
For the interview, Cardi stopped by the strip club where she used to work at.
During the visit, she shared that ‘A lotta women here taught me to be more powerful. I did gain passion and love to perform. It also made me feel pretty… I am glad for this chapter. A lot of people always make fun of me… I do not ever regret it.’
Cardi then touched upon her huge popularity, arguing that it’s all a result of her being herself no matter what.
She explained that people really like to see stars being real and that means that while she may make mistakes while talking and even invent words, everything she says is ‘from the heart’ and that matters a lot.
Wait, you told him what Sis ?

The interview follows the news that Cardi and her husband of one year, Offset put an end to their marriage.
Cardi was spotted without her ring already, and she even put up the middle finger while on stage performing at New York City’s Jingle Ball on Friday.
