The Bodak Yellow rapper’s first album is almost here, but while fans have been looking forward to it for a while now, some of them might not be too happy about it after hearing the title. Cardi B took to social media today to announce that her upcoming album is called Invasion of Privacy and she even posted the cover!
In addition to that, she announced the release date which is April 6! Only 11 more days to go!
As you may know already, the young rapper managed to gain a lot of recognition, therefore, reach success in a really short period of time.
That being said, she is not at all used to the sometimes intrusive attention she gets and it sounds like the album title is a diss towards the people who were trying to tell her what to do about fiancé Offset after his cheating scandal.
‘My album cover!!! LADIES AND GENTS! My album INVASION OF PRIVACY will be out next week April 6!!!!!!!❤,’ Cardi captioned the cover pic.
Cardi has even admitted not too long ago that for her, fame has been a little bothersome and that she was ‘a little bit happier’ a couple of years ago.
‘I had less people who had opinions about my life. I felt my life was mine. Now I feel like I do not even own my life. I feel like the world owns me,’ she complained.
Either way, Cardi B’s followers were quick to express their excitement about the original music coming our way.
‘I am shook. Giving me @missymisdemeanorelliott vibes. You can have all my coins. I do not buy albums, and I might even buy this. Ded,’ one fan wrote.
Are you just as excited to listen to Cardi’s first album?
