It seems that Cardi B and her fiancé, Offset, are going to pull a Kenya Moore and keep teasing fans with their pregnancy announcement for weeks to come.
This week, TMZ broke the news that the funny “Bartier Cardi” and “Bodak Yellow” femcee is about six months pregnant with her first child.
The trusted source, who spoke to the entertainment site, said the former reality star plans to appear at Coachella, release her first album, and perform at various clubs.
Two months after welcoming her bundle of joy, she will go on tour with Bruno Mars.
In the past, the couple had denied the TMZ report, but this time around, they posted a clip where they more or less confirmed the news and fans congratulated them.
One of them said: “Bro someone said she’s covering up her belly,… did you see that video where she yanked her hand from a fan… she did look a little bloated little offset jr coming. Beautiful pregnancy glow. I love her, and I will be purchasing her Album. Yep! Due in either June or July one of those!”
Another commenter stated: “So we just going to keep covering up that stomach and lying huh we’ll wait for the “I just wanted privacy speech.”
A third supporter shared: “She pregnant asf.I love how she doesn’t give af about people’s opinions. That moment when at first I couldn’t stand cardi b… (She seemed extra) but when I started seeing her interviews…. She’s raw 100% with no filter. That won me over big time! Nowadays artists are too safe. Cardi says whatever the hell she wants. With that said.. you got me as a fan lol.”
However, a source said the label is freaking out about the pregnancy and added: “Label execs over at Atlantic are trembling right now because they do not know if Cardi is pregnant or not.”
The insider concluded: “Cardi is keeping the lights on at Atlantic, and considering she has an album dropping next month, if she is pregnant, it will derail a lot of the plans they have put in motion for her. Promo runs, and album tours will be threatened significantly.”
Cardi is hoping that her new music will dominate the competition.
