One source told us all about the singer’s reaction to the girl group’s breakup. We have learned that Camila Cabello thinks the other four ex-members of Fifth Harmony are a bit hypocritical following the news that the group is going on hiatus.
The 21-year-old feels like it’s really not fair how they slammed her for leaving the group to pursue a solo career and now that is exactly what they are doing as well.
‘Camila’s feeling emotional after hearing about her old group going their own ways. She is upset because she feels like the girls are being hypocrites. The Fifth Harmony members gave Camila so much grief for leaving the group when all she wanted to do was follow her dreams, and now they’re doing the exact same thing,’ our insider explained.
That being said, in her opinion, receiving an apology from the other three ladies would only make sense at this point.
The source added that ‘She feels like it was not fair the way they treated her, and now they owe her an apology because all she wanted to pursue her solo endeavors. She also cannot help but feel like she was a huge part of their success and when she left, the band fell apart. They never appreciated her, and she does feel vindicated for sure.’
As fans know already, not too long ago, Fifth Harmony took to Instagram and Twitter to share the following announcement: ‘Reflecting on the past six years since we started on X-Factor, we have realized just how far we have come, and we appreciate everything so much, more now than ever. We have really had one hell of a memorable journey together and cannot begin to express our gratitude to you all for coming along with us on this wild ride!’
‘After six years going hard, non-stop, we realized that in order to remain authentic to ourselves and to you, we need to take time off, for now, to go on a hiatus from Fifth Harmony and pursue solo endeavors.’
