Caitlyn Jenner was in attendance at the ESPYS this year alongside Sophia Hutchins, her rumored girlfriend. Ever since then, fans have gotten even more curious to learn whether or not they are really together. However, the transgender icon continues to keep her love life as private as possible.
That being said, despite showing up at the ESPYS with a date, during her interview with Variety for the Trans Hollywood Issue, Caitlyn remained secretive.
‘We are not going to get into that. But we are very close. We do a lot of things together. We are kind of inseparable. We are the best of friends,’ the former athlete told the publication when asked about the type of relationship they have.
She also suggested that privacy is something really desirable for Caitlyn right now, in all aspects of her life, not only in romance.
‘I do not do a lot of media. I do not want to be seen everywhere. Today, I am very politically involved. Nobody really knows it. I do it quietly because I’ve been criticized by the liberal side of media. I can get more things done if I do not stick my nose into everything publicly. I like going to Washington, D.C., doing what I do, but doing it quietly.’
Sophia, who is also the Caitlyn Jenner Foundation’s executive director, went on to say that: ‘Coming from a reality show, where every single detail of your life’s documented, to not seeking press at all is kind of a really big change. Caitlyn isn’t working on these issues for press attention. She is doing it because she genuinely wants to help the community.’
