Caitlyn Jenner loves to use social media, and for many reasons, from politics, health updates, and sometimes just to speak with fans. Most recently, the 68-year-old talked about the importance of wearing sunblock.
Not a lot of people are aware of the strength of UV rays nowadays, as just a few hours out in the sun without any sunblock can wreak havoc on a person’s skin.
For some, unfortunately, it can cause cancer, and Caitlyn Jenner can corroborate that. On Instagram, Jenner recently explained that she had a spot removed from her nose.
On Tuesday, Jenner posted a shot on Instagram of her face without any makeup on, which revealed the sun-damaged part of her nose for which she underwent treatment. In a photo we have for you below, Jenner’s nose can be seen in all of its red-and-raw glory.
Jenner wrote, “I recently had to get some sun damage removed from my nose, always wear your sunblock.” In a report from People magazine, the organization claims she had a “cancerous basal cell carcinoma” taken off of her face.
In some cases, it’s as simple as applying a topical cream, but in others, it may require surgery. Caitlyn launched a makeup line with MAC back in 2016 and also revealed her skincare routine in 2015 after she turned into a woman.
Following the removal of her beard back in the 1980’s, Jenner stated that her face became “pot-holey.” However, it’s fortunately gotten better “throughout the years.” And while her skin has gotten better, some of her relationships have fallen apart.
As you may know, Jenner has had a bit of a falling out with the Kardashian and Jenner clan, and it all started with her memoir, The Secrets Of My Life. It was a memoir where Caitlyn claimed that Kris knew all along but refused to support her.
