Busy Phillips is currently pivoting in her career as she’s going from actress to television talk show host. E! Network has picked up a late night show starring Phillips to air later this year. The blonde 39-year-old has enjoyed quite a bit of longevity in her career. In fact, she’s been working for the past two decades on and off. Though she’s not exceptionally well known, she has done well for herself.
Phillips covers the current issue of Net-A-Porter and during her interview, she revealed something that may be considered a bit shocking to her fans.
She never watched Dawson’s Creek. On the early 2000s hit show, in which she played Audrey Liddell, she met one of her closest friends to this day, Oscar-nominated actress Michelle Williams.
When questioned about her television preference she revealed that Dawson’s Creek isn’t even really in the running.
The blonde much prefers Freaks And Geeks and Cougar Town to the teen drama set against a creek.

“Freaks And Geeks, I think, is ultimately the classic. And then probably Cougar Town. I never watched Dawson’s Creek. I didn’t watch it before I was on the show and I barely watched it after I was on the show, so I don’t have the same connection that other people have to it,” explained the actress.
Since her work on those shows, she’s let her acting take a bit of a back seat, except for a role in last year’s I Feel Pretty, starring Amy Schumer.
Showcasing so much of her life and personality via social media has done an interesting thing for her public persona.
What separates her and gives her a bit of an edge is that she posts very raw stories and anecdotes that other celebrity may not have the gumption to share.
