On Tuesday, someone entered Brandi Glanville’s house while she and her two sons were there. The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star, Brandi, revealed on Twitter that she was a victim of a home invasion.
Clearly, the incident scared her because the reality star urged her followers to make sure that they “set their alarms,” even while at home. According to the Real Housewife, someone came into the house when she and her family were there, but the alarms weren’t activated so they never even knew about it.
She said to reporters from Us Weekly: “…and I felt safe in my home because we have a security system and gates.” As you may know, Brandi has two children, Mason, 15, and Jake, 11, with her ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian.
While the incident was definitely scary, she said she was glad that nobody was hurt. Perhaps the scariest thing on her mind following the robbery was the idea that one of her kids could’ve run into the burglars while they were in the home. Who knows what could’ve happened?
People be very careful set your alarms even when you’re at home my house was burglarized yesterday while my kids and I were both there #scary

However, Brandi didn’t tell her followers what was stolen from her home exactly. Later on, she went to the hardware store and purchased new locks as well as tints for her windows.
When her fans and followers asked if she was ok, she confirmed she was fine. Celebrity homes are a frequent target for burglars and thieves, for a couple of different reasons.
For starters, criminals know that people who work in the entertainment industry are often far away from their homes for extended periods of time. Furthermore, with the advent of social media, these same celebrities advertise their location away from home, and it’s as simple as going to the person’s property while they’re not there.
Perhaps, the public figure who learned this lesson the hardest was the star of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian, who was robbed while in Paris, France.
Although Kim wasn’t at home, she was in a hotel, and the villains knew where she was, and what kind of jewelry she had on her because she advertised her diamond ring on Instagram beforehand.
Incidentally, the stress the robbery debacle caused played a role in Kanye’s mental health struggles afterward. As it was previously reported, Kanye canceled part of his tour after he learned his wife was robbed and tied up in the bathtub.
