Ever since Angelina Jolie filed for divorce on September 19, Brad Pitt has not seen his children. However, recently he was able to spend some time with them for the first time after he and his wife had split up, according to People magazine. The actor, aged 52, and Angelina Jolie, 41, have now agreed on a temporary custody arrangement, despite all the accusations that he was verbally abusive and even got physical with Maddox, their fifteen-year-old son, while they were on a private flight.
A source supposedly declared for People that Brad loves the children they have more than anything in the world, and that they’re the most important thing in his life. The same person declared that he is willing to do whatever he can in order to be with them forever. However, Brad’s representative refused to comment on this situation when contacted by several publications.
The star from Fight Club seems to have agreed on a voluntary plan that was suggested by the Department of Children and Family Services. This plan includes supervised visits to the children, voluntary tests for drugs and alcohol and also therapy. Moreover, the agreement states that the visits must include the presence of a therapist.
This temporary plan expires on October 20, and then they will have to negotiate a new one. Also, both Brad and Angelina, as well as all their children, have to go individually to therapy, besides the group one they have. As it seems, Jolie would like to have sole custody, while Brad is looking to gain a shared one.
Since she filed for divorce, Jolie has been living in a Malibu rental house together with the children. Moreover, she has recently rented a mansion on Hidden Hills that belonged previously to Denise Richards. It remains to be seen how will the things evolve.
