Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have not yet made it into court for their custody battle, but that doesn’t mean Pitt is happy about his estranged wife’s behavior. Recently, Jolie was photographed laughing with her three youngest children – Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne – but Pitt believes that his ex is just putting on a show.
A new report claims that ever since Jolie filed for divorce in September 2016, Pitt has felt that Jolie has used their six children to manipulate media coverage.

“Brad continues to be disappointed and disapproving of Angelina’s actions with their children during their custody war,” an anonymous source told Hollywood Life. “While Brad continues to nurture his relationship with the kids privately, behind closed doors, he is bothered every time Angelina puts the kids on display in public, something Brad is working hard to avoid while the divorce war rages on.”
Pitt believes that his children’s privacy is what is most important during this difficult time, and it makes him sad that Jolie doesn’t protect the kids in the same way.
Jolie and Pitt will be in court on December 4th, and if they can’t reach an agreement over custody, the judge will set a date for trial. Pitt has reportedly reached out to Jolie and asked that they try to reach a settlement and avoid a court hearing.
An insider says that the last two years have been difficult and stressful for the family. And, the kids are old enough to get what is going on, so it hasn’t been good for anyone. Their family as they knew it has been “torn apart,” and it will take a lot of time and therapy for everyone to get back on track.
During an interview with GQ Style in May 2017, Pitt said that he had heard a lawyer say that no one wins in court, it’s just a matter of who gets hurt worse. And, this experience has proved that statement to be true. He added that in a divorce, you spend a year focused on building a case to prove that you are right and your ex is wrong, but he refuses to invest in vitriolic hatred.

He also said that there was “no other outcome” for the family except everyone coming out stronger and better people on the other side, but each one of them had to travel at their own pace to get there.
Earlier this month an insider said that Pitt and Angelina Jolie were nowhere close to reaching an agreement on custody, and she was having a big problem getting past the messy end of their marriage, but Pitt had cleaned up “in a very positive way.”
Brad Pitt wants to have joint custody, so he can have a relationship with each child, and he isn’t going to give in.
