The split between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt has been a difficult one, not just for them but also for their six children. Now, reports are surfacing that the kids’ education and behavior are the focus of the custody battle, and Pitt isn’t happy with how Jolie is handling the situation.
Jolie’s “no rules” parenting style is being called into question by Pitt, who believes in more of a structured upbringing. The kids, Maddox, 16, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 11, and twins Knox, and Vivienne,9, live with their mother and apparently, things are chaotic in their six-bedroom mansion.
An In Touch insider is claiming that Jolie is “overwhelmed” with life as a single parent, and the kids are suffering because of it. Pitt is concerned that the kids are not receiving a proper education from their private tutors because they know how to “con and manipulate.”
Instead, Pitt would prefer private schools to help their kids become more successful in life. He believes his kids are smart and loving but doesn’t want them to become lost because of their current lack of basic education and structure.
Brad Pitt reportedly wants the custody agreement to get settled soon so that he can be more involved with the children’s education.
Many reports have surfaced recently about the Jolie-Pitt children’s behavior both in public and in private. Earlier this month, Shiloh and Vivienne walked through a Target parking lot barefoot and unkempt. At home, sources claim the kids are staying up late every night, eating junk food and drinking soda, and sleeping in the next day.
In the court of public opinion, it seems that Pitt is winning the publicity war over Jolie and that she has become the villain in the divorce. He has acknowledged his battle with alcohol and made changes when it comes to drinking (he admitted he drank too much during their marriage), and has turned to art to help him heal.

Jolie, on the other hand, has had a tough time garnering any sympathy for her new-found life as a single mom. The actress accused Vanity Fair of misquoting her and is making desperate attempts to control her image by showing off her kids on red carpets. She doesn’t connect with fans on social media and hasn’t come across as being relatable in any way.
Ultimately, though, both Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt want what is best for their children even though they are no longer together. Unfortunately, they seem to have very different ideas about what “best” is.
