Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie split back in September 2016, but fast forward to more than a year-and-a-half later, and the two are still working on their divorce settlement and custody agreement – and the drama is still playing out. According to new reports, Jolie wants their six kids to be in London with her this summer while she films Maleficent 2, but Pitt wants them at home in Los Angeles.
E! News is reporting that the divorce has dragged on because the former couple cannot reach an agreement on the custody of their children. Both Pitt and Jolie have talked about doing what is best for the kids – and making that a top priority – but it appears that they have different ideas about what “best for the kids” actually means. And, no one seems to know if they will reach an agreement anytime soon.

While Pitt continues to battle Jolie in family court, his ex-fiancée Gwyneth Paltrow has been talking about him in recent interviews. This week on The Howard Stern Show on SiriusXM radio, Paltrow spoke about the alleged sexual misconduct of disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein and how Pitt came to her defense.
Paltrow says that Pitt once threatened Weinstein after he blindsided the actress with inappropriate touching when she was just 22 years old.
Last fall, the Oscar winner told The New York Times that during a meeting in his hotel suite, Weinstein put his hands on her and then wanted her to go to the bedroom for massages. The incident took place after he cast her as the lead in the film adaptation of Jane Austen’s Emma.
Paltrow says she rejected Weinstein’s advances and then confided in Pitt about what happened. The Fight Club star then confronted the producer, and his reps have confirmed Paltrow’s story.

In her latest interview, the Goop founder gave more details about the aftermath of Weinstein’s misconduct. Paltrow revealed that she and Pitt ran into Weinstein at a Broadway opening, and it was then that Pitt took the opportunity to threaten him.
“It was like the equivalent of throwing him against the wall,” said Paltrow.
Then she added that Pitt allegedly said, “‘If you ever make her feel uncomfortable again, I’ll kill you.”
The 45-year-old said that Brad Pitt used his fame and power to protect her when she was at a point in her career when she didn’t have fame or power herself. They ended up parting ways in 1997.
