Christmas is looking good for Brad Pitt after all. A report has surfaced in an Australian publication that claimed that after all has been said and done, he was able to get custody of his six children for the Christmas holidays.
It was reported that the actor was feuding with estranged wife Angelina Jolie who was determined to take the kids away from him during the year-end festivities.
Several media outlets claimed that despite the fact that Jolie had previously promised Pitt that the children would be spending the special holiday with him — out of revenge — she decided to change her plans last minute.
Instead of being in California with their father, Jolie wanted to take a little vacation in Cambodia with the clan.
Pitt was furious and also saddened by the thought of being alone at the particular moment.
It is not known how it was done or if Pitt’s ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, played a part in the process, but somehow he managed to get custody of his kids.
According to the New Idea, the famous actor is said to be over the moon by the happy news.
An insider shared with Hollywood Life that Pitt will also be spending his 54th birthday on December 18 with his family.
The pal said: “Brad is looking forward to his birthday this year as he is going to have all the kids with him.”
The source added: “Maddox and Pax have told their dad that they are going to cook him a special birthday dinner, and the girls are going to make him a cake. A lot has changed over the past year, and Brad is feeling so much better now after a tough twelve months. Brad’s children mean everything to him, and he hates not being there every day with them—but he is seeing a lot more of the kids now that they are living close by, and he feels like he is finally able to make up for lost time. Brad was feeling down on his birthday last year, but he is now back on track and has started looking forward to the future again.”
The source claimed that this is a win for Pitt who has been trying very hard for the past few months to be with his children as Jolie traveled around the world with them for documentaries and humanitarian works.
It is not known if the pair will keep the peace after the holidays or start fighting again.
