Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have engaged in a nasty divorce war for the past two years, but insiders now claim the fighting is almost over. The former power couple is reportedly meeting in secret to work out a custody plan and finally put their divorce to rest.
Jolie originally filed for divorce in the fall of 2016, two years after tying the knot with Pitt. The months following the breakup were filled with mudslinging and accusations, but then things slowed down to a crawl.

The biggest reason the divorce remained unresolved is because the two could not agree on how to handle the custody of their kids — Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne. With Pitt and Jolie arguing over custody, nothing else was settled.
According to In Style, insiders now say that Pitt and Jolie have arranged secret meetings to talk about co-parenting. If the reports are true, this could be a step towards finalizing the divorce and moving on.
The source claims that this is the first time Pitt and Jolie have met since they participated in family therapy with the kids. So far, the meetings have gone well.
“Brad and Angie’s meeting was a success,” the source explained, adding that Pitt and Jolie are following through with court orders.

Jolie is the one who allegedly put the secret meetings in motion. The actress felt a need to reach out and make an offer, which Pitt gladly accepted. The World War Z star wanted to meet with Jolie ever since she filed for divorce and hopes they can reach an agreement for their children’s sake.
We can only hope that this is a sign that things are moving in the right direction and the divorce ends soon.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have not commented on the latest rumors surrounding their split. The two were married for two years, but together for over a decade, before calling it quits.
