It seems that there might be some light at the end of the tunnel in the saga of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s divorce and custody battle. A new report has surfaced that claims the former couple is working together to finally resolve things and come to an agreement almost a year and a half after their split. Are the parents of Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox finally ready to move on?
An inside source has told Life & Style that Jolie and Pitt are nearing an amicable custody agreement and the couple is in a better place than they have been in a long time. Fans should see the divorce settled and a custody agreement in place sometime in the next month.
There have been reports in the past that Pitt offered Jolie $100 million to get the divorce over with and behind them, but she refused. If they are truly close to working things out, then it is a step in the right direction.

Jolie has reportedly been quite controlling with the children and has been in the driver’s seat when it comes to where they spend their time. Ever since she and Pitt split, the 42-year-old’s focus has been on her children and their needs. In fact, her kids are such a priority that she isn’t even planning on dating again for a long time.
As for Pitt, he has dated a bit since the breakup, but it hasn’t been anything serious. For the 54-year-old, his children are also more important than his love life.
“He’s been on casual dates but none of them have evolved into anything serious. His dating life is certainly not his top priority. The kids are,” explained an insider.
A few times each week, his kids visit him at his Hollywood Hills home, which is just down the street from the mansion Jolie bought for herself and the kids after she and Pitt separated.

When the children visit, he doesn’t like to go out. Instead, he keeps things private and safe. His home has become his sanctuary, and Pitt enjoys living the quiet life where his projects help him find peace.
Pitt gave up drinking after the split and he has also committed to regular therapy. His intention is to learn how to become a better man and father.
When he’s not on dad duty, Pitt has been spending his time going to galleries and concerts, since two of his loves are art and music. He has also been reconnecting with friends like Fight Club director David Fincher and his longtime makeup artist Jean Black.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have not publicly commented on their ongoing custody battle.
