This is really odd. There’s a particular scene from Bobby Brown’s new biopic called The Bobby Brown Story that made Twitter really agitated after the movie’s September 4th premiere.
The whole thing was during the first part of the BET biopic. Bobby was played by Woody McClain, and he shows up in bed after sleeping with Janet Jackson, played by Cree Davis.
The two of them start to fight over Janet’s ex-hubby from 1984-1985, James DeBarge.

Janet gets angry and stands up to exit the room. That’s when Bobby says, ‘You too good to be in my room, then you can get the hell out of here!’
After that, he throws her in the hallway just in her underwear. The story was initially reported by Page Six.
People on Twitter went crazy and said that Janet was definitely disrespected with this scene.
‘Anyone asking why they didn’t humiliate Janet Jackson further on this Bobby Brown Story ain’t alright with me,’ producer Jaime Primak Sullivan posted on Twitter.
Someone posted ‘How BET gonna honor Janet Jackson on Black Girls Rock then violate her in Bobby Brown Story.’
On the other hand, Bobby’s printed story had a more shocking version of what allegedly happened back then.

As we told you, the biopic shows they fought over Janet’s ex-husband, but Bobby claimed in his autobiography that Janet allegedly told him, ‘My father won’t allow me to be with a black man.’
After this, Bobby wrote ‘Cursing the whole time, I pulled her out of bed and pushed her out of the room, naked.’ There was no mention of Janet wearing any underwear.
